If you are near O'Connell Street, head to the nearest bus stop and look for bus routes 123 or 68. Board the bus and ride until you reach the stop for 'Hospital'. From there, walk along Military Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

Make your way to the nearest Luas stop that services the Red Line, such as Abbey Street. Take the tram towards Saggart and get off at the 'James's' stop. From there, exit the station and walk straight down James's Street until you reach the junction with Military Road. Turn left onto Military Road and walk for approximately 10 minutes to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

If you are in the city center, you can walk to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham. Start from the area around Christchurch Cathedral, head west on Kevin Street and continue straight until you reach the junction with Military Road. Turn right onto Military Road and walk for about 20 minutes. The museum will be on your right.
