Getting There

    From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located on the corner of the Fair Street and the Donore Road. Look for the Bus Eireann service heading to Dublin. Purchase a ticket to Dublin city center, and board the bus. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour. Once you arrive at Busáras (Dublin's central bus station), exit the bus and head towards the Luas (light rail) stop.

    At the Busáras station, catch the Luas Red Line towards Tallaght. Travel for about 5 stops until you reach the 'Dawson Street' stop. Here, you will need to transfer to the Luas Green Line at the 'St. Stephen's Green' station. Take the Green Line towards Broombridge and get off at the 'Ranelagh' stop.

    From the Ranelagh Luas stop, exit the station and walk west on Ranelagh Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Clonskeagh Road. Turn left onto Clonskeagh Road and follow it until you reach the junction with the River Dodder. Continue along the riverbank until you reach Island Bridge. The Irish National War Memorial Gardens will be on your right.
