    Bus

    From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located at the corner of Fair Street and West Street. Take the Bus Eireann route 100 towards Dublin. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach Malahide. Once you arrive at Malahide, get off at the bus stop named 'Malahide Village'. From there, walk towards Back Rd, which is about a 15-minute walk. Exit the bus stop and walk straight down the main street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Back Rd, and continue walking until you reach Malahide Castle & Gardens on your right.

    Train

    Make your way to Drogheda Train Station located on the Dublin Road. Take the Northern Ireland Railways train in the direction of Dublin. Alight at Malahide Station after approximately 30 minutes. From Malahide Station, exit and walk straight down the main road, following signs for Malahide Village. After about a 20-minute walk, you will reach Back Rd. Turn right onto Back Rd, and continue walking until you see Malahide Castle & Gardens on your left.

    If you are already in Malahide, from the Malahide Village Center, walk towards the coast along the main street until you reach the seafront. Then, head towards the left and follow the coastal path until you reach the entrance of Malahide Castle & Gardens. The walk will take about 25 minutes and offers beautiful views along the way.
