Bus
From Drogheda, head to the Drogheda Bus Station located on the Fair Street. Look for the Bus Éireann service towards Dublin. Board the bus and make sure to ask the driver to let you know when you reach Malahide. The journey typically takes about 45 minutes to an hour. Once you arrive in Malahide, you can explore the area, including the beautiful Malahide Castle and the scenic coastal views.

Walk to the Drogheda Train Station, which is located on the southern side of the river, at 1a Station Road. Purchase a ticket for the DART train heading towards Howth. Start by heading west on the Drogheda main road towards the N1. Follow the N1 towards Dublin, then take the exit for Malahide. Look for pedestrian pathways along the route. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes and stay hydrated.
