Bus
From Drogheda, make your way to the Drogheda Bus Station located at 2-4, West Street. Take a bus towards Dublin City Centre. You might consider the Bus Éireann service, which operates regularly. Ensure you get off at the Busáras (Dublin's Central Bus Station). From Busáras, follow the signs towards the Luas red line tram station.
Luas (Tram)
At Busáras, purchase a Luas ticket and board the Luas red line tram heading towards Tallaght. Travel for approximately 6 stops until you reach the 'Jervis' stop. Here, transfer to the Luas green line tram towards Broombridge.
Walk
Once you disembark at the 'Broombridge' stop, exit the tram and head southeast on the North Circular Road. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the River Liffey. Continue walking along the riverbank towards the east until you reach the junction with the River Dodder.
Bus
From here, catch the Dublin Bus route 1 towards Poolbeg. This bus will take you directly to the Poolbeg Lighthouse. The entire journey will take roughly 20 minutes. Make sure to get off at the 'Poolbeg' stop, which is the closest to the lighthouse.
Walk
After getting off the bus, follow the signs directing you towards the coastline. Walk along the S Wall for about 15 minutes, and you will arrive at Poolbeg Lighthouse, where you can enjoy the scenic views.
