Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Drogheda, make your way to West Street. Walk northeast towards the junction with the M1 motorway. Once you reach the junction, cross to the bus stop on the opposite side. Here, you can catch a bus heading towards Slane. The bus service is frequent, and you will need to tell the driver you are going to Slane. The journey should take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Slane, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, head southwest on the N51 road toward Slanecastle Demesne. The Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery is located along this road. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, and you will see signs leading you to the distillery.

• Bicycle

  If you wish to cycle to Slane Irish Whiskey Distillery, you can rent a bicycle in Drogheda. Start at the Drogheda Town Centre and head towards the N51 road. Follow the N51 heading southwest out of Drogheda towards Slane. The distance is approximately 10 km and will take about 30-40 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Be sure to stay on the designated bicycle paths where available. Once you arrive in Slane, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to Slanecastle Demesne. The distillery is located along this route.
