Getting There

  • Walking

    From Drogheda town center, head south on West Street towards the River Boyne. Cross the Boyne via the Old Bridge and continue straight to reach the bus station. Take a bus towards Dublin City Centre; you can check the local bus schedules for the most convenient route. Once you arrive at the Busaras (Bus Station) in Dublin, exit and head towards the Luas (light rail) stop at Busaras. Board the Luas towards the Red Line and disembark at the O'Connell/Abbey Street stop. From there, walk south on O'Connell Street until you reach the river, then turn left on to the pedestrian bridge. Cross the river and continue straight; you will reach St Stephen's Green within 10-15 minutes.

  • Bus

    From Drogheda, go to the Drogheda Bus Station, which is located near the town center. Look for a bus that is headed towards Dublin. The journey to Dublin will take approximately 40 minutes to an hour, depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Dublin Busaras (the central bus station), exit and make your way to the nearby Luas stop at Busaras. Take the Luas Red Line towards Tallaght and get off at the Abbey Street stop. From there, walk south on O'Connell Street, turn left onto the pedestrian bridge, cross the river, and continue straight to reach St Stephen's Green.
