    Bus

    From Drogheda town center, head to the bus stop located at the Market Square. Take the Bus Eireann route 100 towards Dublin. The journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Busáras (Dublin Bus Station), exit the bus and walk towards the Luas tram stop. Take the Luas Red Line towards Tallaght and get off at the Jervis stop. From Jervis, it's a short 10-minute walk to Dublin Castle. Head south on Abbey Street, turn left onto Middle Abbey Street, and then right onto Dame Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Dublin Castle.

    Train

    Walk to Drogheda Train Station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the town center. Take a train on the Northern Commuter line towards Dublin. Get off at Pearse Station, which is a central station in Dublin. From Pearse, exit the station and walk towards Merrion Square. Head west towards Westland Row and turn left onto Dame Street. Continue walking straight until you reach Dublin Castle.
