Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Drogheda Bus Station located on the Donore Road. Exit the station and head southwest towards the town center. Walk along Donore Road until you reach the junction with West Street. Turn left onto West Street and continue straight until you reach the Market Square. From there, continue straight onto the Magdalene Street. Follow Magdalene Street until you reach the River Boyne. Cross the bridge (the Boyne Viaduct) and continue on to the left bank of the river. Follow the river path until you reach the bus station in Dublin. Once in Dublin, you can take a local bus or DART train to Grand Canal Dock.

  • Bus

    From Drogheda Bus Station, take a bus heading to Dublin city center. Buses are frequent and can take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Busaras (Dublin Bus Station), exit the station and look for bus routes 7, 7A, or 7B, which will take you towards Grand Canal Dock. Get off at the stop called 'Grand Canal Dock' which will place you very close to the Diving Bell.

  • Train

    Head to Drogheda Train Station on the south side of the River Boyne. Take a train heading to Dublin Connolly Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Connolly Station, exit and walk towards the Luas (tram) stop. Take the Luas Red Line towards Tallaght or Saggart and get off at the 'Dawson Street' stop. From there, walk to the Grand Canal Dock area, which is approximately a 15-minute walk.
