Walking
From Drogheda town center, head southeast on West Street towards Barlow Street. Continue straight until you reach the River Boyne. Cross the bridge at the Boyne and continue along the riverside walkway. Follow the path along the river until you reach the junction with the railway. Turn left and continue walking until you reach the train station. From Drogheda Train Station, take a train to Dublin, which will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Dublin Connolly Station, exit the station and head towards Custom House Quay by walking east along the riverfront for about 15 minutes. The Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridges will be on your left along the quay.

Bus
Start at the Drogheda Bus Station located in the town center. Take the Bus Éireann service towards Dublin. The bus journey will take about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Busáras (the central bus station in Dublin), exit the station and head east towards the River Liffey. Walk along the riverfront towards Custom House Quay. The Scherzer Rolling Lift Bridges will be located on your left. This walk should take approximately 15 minutes.
