Public Bus
To reach Dublin Zoo in Phoenix Park, you can take the number 46A bus from O'Connell Street. Board the bus at the stop just south of the River Liffey. After about 25 minutes, get off at the stop called 'Phoenix Park'. From there, walk towards the entrance of Phoenix Park, which is clearly marked. The zoo is located within the park, and it should take you about 10 minutes to walk to the entrance of Dublin Zoo.

Take the LUAS tram from Abbey Street (Red Line) towards Tallaght. Get off at the 'Heuston' stop. Once you exit the station, head towards the park entrance which is a short walk away. Enter Phoenix Park and follow the signs for Dublin Zoo which is about a 15-minute walk from the park entrance.

If you're in the city center, you can walk to Dublin Zoo. Head west from O'Connell Street towards the River Liffey, cross the river via O'Connell Bridge, and continue straight onto Parnell Square. Follow Parnell Square to the left onto Gardiner Street, then continue onto North Circular Road. From there, follow the signs to Phoenix Park. The walk will take approximately 45 minutes.
