Bus
If you are near O'Connell Street, locate the nearest bus stop and take the number 13 or number 40 bus towards Tallaght or Clondalkin. Make sure to get off at the stop named 'James's Gate'. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 5 minutes and you will reach the Guinness Storehouse entrance.
Luas (Tram)
Head to the nearest Luas tram stop. If you are near the city center, board the Luas Red Line tram in the direction of Saggart. Get off at the 'Smithfield' stop. From there, walk south along the church on your left and continue straight until you reach St. James's Gate, which will take about 15 minutes.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the Liberties area, you can walk to the Guinness Storehouse. Start at the historic area of St. Patrick's Cathedral and walk west towards Clanbrassil Street. Continue straight until you reach James's Gate; the Guinness Storehouse will be on your left. This walk will take around 20 minutes.
Taxi
You can easily hail a taxi from anywhere in Dublin. Simply tell the driver to take you to 'St. James's Gate', and they will drop you off directly at the Guinness Storehouse entrance. The taxi ride from the city center should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic.
