Bus
From O'Connell Street, take the number 13 bus towards 'Kilmainham'. The bus stop is located at the O'Connell Monument. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the 'Kilmainham Gaol' stop. From there, the entrance to Kilmainham Gaol is a short 2-minute walk away. Follow the signs towards Inchicore Road, and you will see the entrance on your left.

Take the Luas Red Line tram from Abbey Street towards 'Tallaght'. Get off at 'Museum' stop after about 15 minutes. After exiting the tram, head southwest on the main road for about 10 minutes until you reach Inchicore Road. Kilmainham Gaol will be on your right.

If you are near the city center, you can walk to Kilmainham Gaol. Start at the Dublin Castle and head southwest on Dame Street towards Clanbrassil Street.
