Walking
If you are starting from Dublin Castle, exit the castle grounds and head southwest on Castle Street. Continue straight onto Patrick Street. Walk for about 5 minutes until you reach the fork at the intersection with Clanbrassil Street. Take the right fork onto Clanbrassil Street and continue for another 5 minutes. You will pass by the historic St. Patrick's Cathedral on your left. As you approach the intersection with Cork Street, switch to the left side of the street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kevin Street. Turn left onto Kevin Street and walk until you see a small alleyway on your right leading to Lamb Alley. The Old Dublin City Wall is located at the end of Lamb Alley.

From O'Connell Street, take the Luas Red Line tram towards Tallaght. Get off at the 'Smithfield' stop. From there, walk south on the Smithfield Square, continuing onto the old market area until you reach the intersection with the Church Street. Turn left onto Church Street and then right onto the junction that leads to the back of the Four Courts. Continue walking straight until you turn onto the street that leads to Lamb Alley. The Old Dublin City Wall will be located at the end of the alley.

Once you disembark, walk back towards St. Patrick's Cathedral, then head south towards Clanbrassil Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Kevin Street. Turn left onto Kevin Street, and then take the first right into Lamb Alley. The Old Dublin City Wall is at the end of the alley.
