Getting There

  • Walk

    If you are in the city center, head southwest towards Thomas Street. Walk along Thomas Street until you reach the junction with the South Circular Road. Continue walking straight on the South Circular Road until you see the signs for Inchicore. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach the Richmond Barracks located at St Michael's Estate. Look for the large building with a historic facade; it is situated in a residential area.

  • Bus

    From the city center, go to the nearest bus stop and take the number 13 or 40 bus towards Inchicore. The bus will take you along the South Circular Road. Get off at the stop named 'Inchicore Village'. From there, walk down Emmet Road for about 5 minutes, and you will see Richmond Barracks on your left, located at St Michael's Estate.

  • LuAS (Light Rail)

    Make your way to the nearest LuAS tram station, and take the Red Line tram towards Tallaght. Get off at the 'Blackhorse' stop. From there, exit the station and walk towards the South Circular Road. Turn right, and walk along the South Circular Road for about 10 minutes until you reach Inchicore. Richmond Barracks will be on your right at St Michael's Estate.
