Getting There

• Walking

  If you are near Trinity College, head south towards Dame Street. Continue straight until you reach the traffic light at the junction with George's Street. Turn left onto George's Street and walk until you reach the intersection with South Great George's Street. Turn right and walk straight until you come to the junction with Wellington Quay. The Merchants Arch Bar is located just at the corner, on your right, upstairs at 49 Wellington Quay.

• Bus

  Catch a bus that goes to the Temple Bar area, such as the number 15 or 77. You can board the bus at any central bus stop, like O'Connell Street. Once you are on the bus, ask the driver to let you know when to get off for Temple Bar. When you get off, head towards the river and walk along the quay until you reach Wellington Quay. The Merchants Arch Bar is located at 49 Wellington Quay, upstairs.

• LUAS (Tram)

  Take the LUAS Red Line tram towards the Point. Get off at the Jervis stop. From there, walk south along Henry Street until you reach the intersection with Abbey Street. Turn left on Abbey Street and continue straight until you reach the river. Cross the river at the O'Connell Bridge, and then turn right onto Wellington Quay. The Merchants Arch Bar is located upstairs at 49 Wellington Quay.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a Dublin bike, you can pick one up from any nearby bike station. Cycle along the river Liffey, heading towards the west. Keep an eye out for the Ha'penny Bridge, which you will cross. After crossing, turn right on Wellington Quay. The Merchants Arch Bar will be on your left at 49 Wellington Quay, upstairs.
