Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from O'Connell Street, head south towards the River Liffey and cross the O'Connell Bridge. Once you reach the south side of the river, continue straight onto D'Olier Street. Follow D'Olier Street which will turn into College Street. Keep walking until you reach the entrance to Trinity College on your left. The Library is located within the college grounds, and you will see signs directing you to the Old Library.

If you are near Dublin Castle, head north on Dame Street towards the intersection with Parliament Street. Turn left onto Parliament Street and continue straight until you reach the entrance to Trinity College on your right. Once inside the college grounds, follow the signs to the Old Library. It is a short walk from the entrance.

Take any bus that stops at College Green. This area is well-served by public transport, including buses 46A, 145, and 150. Once you disembark at College Green, you will see the entrance to Trinity College directly ahead. Enter the college grounds and follow the signs to the Old Library.

If you are at St. Stephen's Green, exit the park at the Dawson Street gate and turn left onto Dawson Street. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Nassau Street. Turn right onto Nassau Street and continue straight until you see the entrance to Trinity College on your left. Upon entering, follow the signs to the Old Library.

If you are taking the DART, alight at Pearse Station. Exit the station and walk north on Pearse Street. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Westland Row. Turn left onto Westland Row and walk until you reach the entrance to Trinity College on your right. Once inside, follow the signs to the Old Library.
