  • DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit)

    To reach Wicklow Historic Gaol from Dublin city center, start by heading to Pearse Station or Connolly Station. Take the DART train towards Bray. Alight at Wicklow Station. From Wicklow Station, exit and turn right onto the main road (Station Road). Walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the junction with Kilmantin Hill. Turn left onto Kilmantin Hill and continue walking for about 5 minutes until you see Gaol Lane on your right. The Wicklow Historic Gaol will be on your right after a short walk down Gaol Lane.

  • Bus

    From Dublin city center, take Bus 133 from O'Connell Street (look for bus stops near the Abbey Street intersection). The bus will take you directly to Wicklow. Alight at the 'Wicklow Town' stop. From the bus stop, head east along the main street (The Mall) until you reach Kilmantin Hill. Turn right onto Kilmantin Hill and then right again onto Gaol Lane. The Wicklow Historic Gaol will be ahead.

  • Walking from Wicklow Town

    If you are already in Wicklow Town, navigate to the main square and find Main Street. Walk down Main Street towards the east until you reach the junction with Kilmantin Hill. Turn left onto Kilmantin Hill and walk for about 5 minutes. Take a right onto Gaol Lane, and you will find the Wicklow Historic Gaol at the end of the lane.
