DART Train

Start your journey from any DART station in Dublin. If you're near the city center, head to Pearse Station or Tara Street Station. Purchase a ticket to Dalkey Station, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic views of Dublin Bay. Upon arriving at Dalkey Station, exit the platform and head towards the exit. Upon exiting the station, turn left and walk along Castle Street for about 10 minutes. You will see Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre on your right.

Bus

From Dublin city center, you can take Bus 45 from O'Connell Street. Ensure you board the bus towards Dun Laoghaire. After about a 40-minute ride, disembark at the 'Dalkey Village' stop. From there, walk straight along Castle Street for approximately 5 minutes until you reach Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre, which will be on your right.

Walking

If you are staying in a nearby area like Dun Laoghaire, you can walk to Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre. Start at the Dun Laoghaire Pier and follow the coastal path south. It will take you about 30-40 minutes to walk to Dalkey. Upon reaching Dalkey, follow the main road until you reach Castle Street, where you will find the castle on your left.

Taxi or Ride-share

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi or use a ride-sharing service like Uber. Simply input 'Dalkey Castle & Heritage Centre' into the app, and it will guide the driver to the location, which generally takes about 30 minutes from central Dublin, depending on traffic.
