Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from O'Connell Street, head north towards the River Liffey. Cross the river using the O'Connell Bridge. Once you reach the north side, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the end of the quay. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Parnell Street. Turn right onto Parnell Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Parnell Monument will be on your left, situated in the Parnell Square area.

  • Public Transport - Luas

    If you are near the Abbey Street Luas stop, take the Luas Green Line towards Broombridge. Get off at the Parnell stop. Upon exiting the tram, walk north along Parnell Square. The Parnell Monument will be located at the center of Parnell Square, easily visible as you approach.

  • Public Transport - Bus

    If you are near the Dame Street area, you can take bus number 37, 38, or 70 from the nearest bus stop. Board the bus and get off at the Parnell Square stop. Once you exit the bus, walk towards the center of Parnell Square, where you will find the Parnell Monument prominently displayed.

    Starting from Trinity College Dublin, exit the campus onto College Green. Head straight towards the west, passing by the Bank of Ireland.
