Getting there

Bus

From Dublin city center, make your way to the closest bus stop. You can catch the 15B bus from O'Connell Street (Bus Stop 2311) toward Ballinteer. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes. You will want to get off at the 'Rathfarnham Castle' stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk to the castle entrance.

Luas Tram

Start at the Abbey Street Luas stop and take the Green Line tram toward Brides Glen. Get off at the 'Ballinteer' stop, which is about a 25-minute ride. From Ballinteer, you can either take a 10-minute walk straight down the main road (Ballinteer Rd) or catch the 15B bus for one stop to 'Rathfarnham Castle'.
