Walking
To reach Fitzwilliam Square from Merrion Square, start at the southeastern corner of Merrion Square Park. Exit the park onto Merrion Square South and turn left. Walk along Merrion Square South until you reach the intersection with Fitzwilliam Street. Turn right onto Fitzwilliam Street and continue walking straight. You will see Fitzwilliam Square on your left side at 38/39 Fitzwilliam Place. The walk takes approximately 10-15 minutes at a leisurely pace.
Public Transport - Bus
If you prefer to take public transport, head to the nearest bus stop on Merrion Square South, known as 'Merrion Square.' From there, you can catch the Dublin Bus route 7 or 7A towards 'UCD' or 'Dun Laoghaire.' Get off at the bus stop named 'Fitzwilliam Square.' The bus fare is approximately €2.50 for a single journey, payable by Leap Card or exact change.
