Getting There

Walking
Start from the center of Ennis, at O'Connell Square. Head west on O'Connell Street towards the River Fergus. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the river. Cross the bridge and turn left onto the N85. Follow this road for approximately 5 kilometers, enjoying the scenic views along the way. As you approach Galway, you'll see signs for Salthill. Once you reach the coast, follow the promenade to the right, and you will arrive at Salthill Prom.

Bus
From Ennis, walk to the nearest bus stop on O'Connell Street. Catch the Bus Eireann service number 51 or 354 towards Galway. The bus will take you directly to the city center. Once you arrive at the Galway bus station, exit and walk towards the Salthill Promenade. Head west on Forster Street, then follow the signs leading to Salthill. It will take approximately 20 minutes on foot from the bus station to reach the Prom.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local bike rental shops in Ennis. Start from the center of Ennis and head towards the N85. Follow the N85 road directly to Galway, ensuring to stay on designated bike paths where available. Upon reaching Galway, follow the signs to Salthill. The total distance is about 8 kilometers, and the ride should take around 30 to 40 minutes.
