From Galway city center, head to the Bus Station located at 9-11 Eyre Square. Purchase a ticket to Recess, Co. Galway, which should take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Recess, disembark the bus and make your way to the main street. Follow the signs towards the Quiet Man Bridge, which is approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, or ask a local for directions.

If you find yourself at the Galway Cathedral, exit the cathedral and walk towards the River Corrib. Follow the river until you reach the University Road. Cross the river and continue on University Road until you reach the bus stop where buses to Recess depart. Board the bus and follow the previous instructions from the bus stop in Recess to reach Quiet Man Bridge.

Rent a bike from one of the bike rental shops in Galway city center, such as Galway Bay Bikes. Head west along the Quay Street, following the signs towards the N59 road. Continue along the road towards Recess. The trip will be approximately 20 km and can take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Upon reaching Recess, ask for directions to Quiet Man Bridge, which is a short ride away.
