From the Giant's Causeway Visitor Centre, head southeast on Causeway Road/A2. Continue on A2 for approximately 9 miles (about 20 minutes). When you reach Coleraine, follow the signs for Downhill Beach. Turn left onto Downhill Road and follow it until you reach the beach. There is parking available on site, and be mindful of any parking fees which may apply.

Public Transportation
From the Giant's Causeway, walk to the nearest bus stop which is on Causeway Road. You can take the Bus Service 172 towards Coleraine. The bus ride will take around 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Coleraine, you will need to transfer to the Bus Service 140 towards Downhill. After about 15 minutes, get off at the Downhill Beach stop. Be sure to check the local bus schedules ahead of time for any changes in service.
