    From the center of Glendalough, head northwest on the R756 road. Continue on this road for approximately 6.5 kilometers. You will pass by the scenic views of the Wicklow Mountains. Look for signs directing you to Ballycorus. After about 6.5 kilometers, take a right turn onto the L1016 road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer, and you will see the entrance to Ballycorus Lead Mines on your left. There is parking available near the entrance.

    From Glendalough, you can take the bus service (Route 183) to Newtownmountkennedy. Check the local schedule for the most current timings. After approximately 30 minutes, you will reach Newtownmountkennedy. From there, you can take a taxi to Ballycorus, which is about 6 kilometers away. Alternatively, if you're feeling adventurous, you could walk along the L1016 road, which would take around 1.5 hours.
