Car
If you're driving from the center of Glendalough, head northwest on the R756 road. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the R115 road. Take a left onto the R115 and continue for approximately 16 kilometers. You will enter the outskirts of Dublin. Follow the signs for Howth, which will direct you to the N31 road. Once on the N31, follow the signs for Howth. As you approach the town, turn right onto Abbey Street. The Martello Tower will be on your left at 13b Abbey St. There is parking available nearby.

From Glendalough, take the bus service to Dublin. You can catch a bus from the Glendalough Visitor Centre that goes to Dublin city center. Once you arrive in Dublin, transfer to the DART (Dublin Area Rapid Transit) train at Pearse Station heading towards Howth. Stay on the train for about 30 minutes until you reach Howth station. From there, exit the station and walk along the Main Street towards Abbey Street. The Martello Tower is located at 13b Abbey St, just a short 10-minute walk from the station.
