If you are already in Glendalough, start from the Glendalough Visitor Centre, located on the main road. From the Visitor Centre, head south on the main road towards the Upper Lake. After approximately 1 km, you will see a sign for the 'St. Kevin's Bed' trail on your right. Follow this trail as it winds through the woods and up towards the hillside. The hike is about 1.5 km in total and will take approximately 30-40 minutes. As you ascend, keep an eye out for the stone structures and the breathtaking views of Glendalough Valley. St. Kevin's Bed will be located at the top, marked by a small altar and a beautiful view.

If you are traveling by car, drive to the Glendalough Visitor Centre, which is located at the heart of Glendalough. Once you park your car (note that parking may incur a small fee, typically around €4 for a few hours), exit the car park and head towards the Upper Lake. Look for the trail sign for 'St. Kevin's Bed' which is located about 1 km from the Visitor Centre. Follow the marked trail, which takes you through scenic woodlands and up to the site. The hike from the Visitor Centre to St. Kevin's Bed is approximately 1.5 km and will take around 30-40 minutes.
