From the center of Kilkenny, head south on High Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the first exit onto the Castle Road. Continue straight until you reach the entrance to Kilkenny Castle, which will be on your left. It's about a 15-minute walk.

Catch the number 3 or 4 bus from the bus stop at the Market Yard, Kilkenny. Ensure to check the bus schedule for the latest timings. The bus will take you towards the Parade area. Get off at the stop nearest to Kilkenny Castle, which is 'The Parade'. From there, it is just a short walk to the entrance of the castle, which is located on your left.

If you have access to a bicycle, you can ride from the center of Kilkenny towards Kilkenny Castle. Head south on High Street, then take a right onto Castle Road. Follow the road until you see the castle on your left. There are bike racks available near the entrance.
