Getting There

  • Walking

    From Kilkenny city center, head southwest on High Street towards Rose Inn Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with John Street. Turn left onto John Street and walk until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Circular Road. Follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the traffic lights at the Hebron Road junction. Turn right onto Hebron Road and continue for about 1.5 km. The National Reptile Zoo is located in Hebron Business Park on the left side of the road. Look for the entrance sign.

    Take the Bus Eireann route 3 from Kilkenny City Bus Station, which is located near the train station. Board the bus heading towards Hebron Road. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Hebron Industrial Estate stop. From there, it is a short 5-minute walk. Head back towards Hebron Road and follow it to the left. The National Reptile Zoo will be on your right within Hebron Business Park.
