We had a new guide who was still dialing in his presentation which is why this is only 4 stars. We were only his 2nd tour. But he was local, very pleasant, knew the city and we enjoyed the tour. It was a great way to see Kilkenny.

Wicklow Mountains and Kilkenny City Private Tour with Chauffeur

James Made Our Ireland Adventure Truly Exceptional

Our group of 10 spent 12 unforgettable days exploring Ireland with James as our chauffeur, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment we met him, his fun personality, quick wit, and genuine enthusiasm made every day enjoyable. He wasn't just our driver—he became an important part of our experience. James consistently went above and beyond to ensure our trip was seamless and memorable. He introduced us to incredible hidden gems and spectacular sites that weren't on the typical tourist routes, giving us a much more authentic view of Ireland. When weather-related issues caused some planned activities to be canceled, James immediately reorganized our itinerary and found excellent alternatives without us having to lift a finger. His ability to adapt and solve problems made the entire trip stress-free. Managing a group of 10 is no small task, but James handled every detail effortlessly. He secured restaurant reservations where all of us could sit together and made sure our daily plans ran smoothly from start to finish. What truly distinguishes James is his passion for providing outstanding service. His enthusiasm is contagious, his sense of humor kept us laughing throughout the trip, and his genuine desire to ensure everyone had a wonderful time was evident every day. He anticipated needs before we even had to ask and consistently exceeded expectations. If you're considering a chauffeur or private tour in Ireland, James is the person you want. His professionalism, local knowledge, warmth, and exceptional service transformed our vacation into an extraordinary experience that our group will remember for years to come.

Private Day Tour of the Medieval City of Kilkenny

Three amazing days in Ireland

We had a fantastic three day tour with Billy and Patraig! Both drivers were local to the area we were traveling in so they were knowledgeable in every day life. The private tours were clean, professional, and reliable. We will use Desmond Travel for our next trip!
