We had a new guide who...
We had a new guide who was still dialing in his presentation which is why this is only 4 stars. We were only his 2nd tour. But he was local, very pleasant, knew the city and we enjoyed the tour. It was a great way to see Kilkenny.

Kilkenny Whiskey Tour Tasting History and Pub Stops
Best by Far!
I’m from Kentucky in the USA, aka Bourbon country. I’ve been on dozens of tastings, tours of distilleries and events featuring tastings/pairings. But I’ve got to say this was the best by far! The history of the whiskeys, the who-what-when-where and how gave me a deeper understanding. And the pairings were groupings that I never would have considered together. Gavin’s knowledge of the history and of Kilkenny was interesting and it made me laugh at the same time. No kidding, BEST EVER!!
