On Foot
If you are in Killarney town centre, start at the Killarney Tourist Information Centre located on Main Street. From there, head south on Main Street towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N71, which is also known as Muckross Road. Continue walking along this road for about 20 minutes. As you walk, you will pass the beautiful Killarney National Park on your left. Once you reach the junction with the R563, turn left and continue straight. You will soon see signs for County Kerry, indicated by welcoming signs in green. The scenery is stunning, so enjoy the views along the way!
Public Transport - Bus
From the Killarney Bus Station, which is located near the town centre, take Bus Number 40 towards Tralee. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Inform the driver that you would like to get off at the stop for County Kerry. Once you arrive, follow the signs leading to the County Kerry area. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to enjoy the sights of the region.
