Getting There

  • Walking

    From Killarney town centre, head west on Main Street towards the junction with the Cork Road (N22). Continue straight, passing by the Killarney Outlet Centre on your left. When you reach the traffic lights, turn left onto the N22. After about 1.5 kilometers, you will reach the roundabout at the entrance to the Ring of Kerry. Take the second exit onto the R561 towards Dingle. Stay on this road for approximately 38 kilometers, which will take you directly to Dingle Bay. Look for signs indicating Dingle town; Dingle Bay is located just before you enter the town.

    From Killarney, go to the Killarney Bus Station located on Park Road. Purchase a ticket for the Bus Éireann service to Dingle. Buses to Dingle run several times a day. The journey takes about 1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Dingle Bus Station, exit the station and walk straight towards the waterfront; Dingle Bay is just a short 5-10 minute walk from the bus station. Follow the signs or ask locals for directions to the bay.
