Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Killarney, head west on Main Street. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout at the junction with the N22. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the N22, heading towards Kenmare. Walk along the side of the road for about 30 minutes, enjoying the scenic views. You will eventually reach the turn-off for Kenmare. Follow the signs to Kenmare, which is approximately 20 km away from Killarney. The walk may take around 4 to 5 hours, so be prepared with water and snacks.

  From Killarney, walk to the Killarney Bus Station located on Park Road. Take the bus heading to Kenmare; the journey takes about 30-40 minutes. Buses run regularly, so check the local schedule for times. Once you arrive at Kenmare, you can explore the town on foot, as it is compact and pedestrian-friendly.

  If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Killarney. Start from the town center and head towards the N22 road.
