Getting There

Walking
If you are starting from the town center of Killarney, head north on Main Street (also known as the N71). Continue straight until you reach the junction with High Street. Turn left onto High Street. Follow High Street until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the Muckross Road (R563). Walk along Muckross Road, which will eventually lead you to the entrance of Killarney House and Gardens. The entrance is well-marked and is approximately a 20-minute walk from the town center.

Public Transport (Bus)
From the town center, you can catch a bus to Muckross House, which is close to Killarney House and Gardens. Look for the bus stop near the church on Main Street. Buses to Muckross House run regularly. Once you board, inform the driver you want to get off at Muckross House. After disembarking, walk back towards the entrance of Killarney House and Gardens, which is just a short walk from the bus stop.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, there are several bicycle rental shops in Killarney. Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops and head towards Muckross Road. Follow the same route as walking: ride along Main Street, turn onto High Street, and then take Muckross Road towards Killarney House and Gardens. The cycle ride will take around 10-15 minutes, and there are bike racks available at the entrance.
