Walking
From Killarney town center, head southwest on Main Street (N22) towards College Street. Continue on Main Street until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the Muckross Road (R569). Follow this road for about 3 km. You'll see signs for Muckross Abbey. Upon arrival, you can enter the grounds and explore the abbey.

From Killarney town center, go to the bus stop near the Killarney Train Station. Look for the bus that goes to Muckross. You can take the 'Killarney National Park' bus, which operates frequently. The journey will take approximately 15-20 minutes. Get off at the Muckross Abbey stop, and you'll be just a short walk from the entrance.
