Getting There

Walking
From the center of Killarney, start at the Killarney Town Park, located on Park Road. Head southwest on Park Road towards the main street. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the junction with Muckross Road. Turn left onto Muckross Road and walk for approximately 2 kilometers. Follow the road signs for Muckross House and Traditional Farms, and you'll see the entrance to Killarney National Park on your right. Continue walking for a short distance into the park until you reach Muckross Traditional Farms.

Public Bus
From the Killarney Bus Station, take the Bus Eireann route towards Muckross. The bus stop is directly outside the station. Board the bus and stay on for about 15 minutes. Get off at the Muckross House stop. From there, it's a short walk into the park to reach Muckross Traditional Farms. Follow the signs, and you can enjoy the scenery as you walk.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from one of the local shops in Killarney. Once you have your bike, head towards the Muckross Road. Follow the cycle path that runs alongside the road, which is well-marked. The ride will take around 20 minutes. As you approach the national park, follow the signs for Muckross House, and you will be able to access the Traditional Farms from the park entrance.
