Walking
From the center of Kinsale, head towards the main street called Pearse Street and walk straight until you reach the junction with the R600 road. Turn right onto the R600 and continue walking for about 15-20 minutes. You will pass by several shops and cafes along the way. As you approach the outskirts of Kinsale, keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Cork. Once you reach the Cork city limits, continue straight until you see the Cathedral of St Mary & St Anne, also known as Shandon Cathedral, on your left on Cathedral Street.

From Kinsale, head to the bus stop located at the top of the town near the Kinsale Tourist Office. Catch the Bus Éireann route number 226 heading towards Cork City. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Cork, disembark at the stop on Parnell Place. From there, walk towards the iconic Shandon Bells located in Shandon district. Follow the signs for Shandon and Cathedral Street, and you will find the Cathedral of St Mary & St Anne a short walk away.
