From the center of Kinsale, head northwest on Main Street towards the traffic lights. Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto the N71 heading towards Cork. Follow the N71 for about 20 km until you reach the outskirts of Cork city. As you enter the city, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the city center. Once in the city center, continue straight until you reach Grand Parade. The National Monument will be on your left at 48 Grand Parade.

Head to the Kinsale bus stop located on the main street in Kinsale. Look for the Bus Éireann service to Cork city, which runs regularly throughout the day. Once you board the bus, it will take approximately 30-40 minutes to reach Cork city. Get off at the bus station in Cork, which is centrally located. From there, walk towards Grand Parade, heading north. The National Monument will be located at 48 Grand Parade, which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus station.
