Walking
From the center of Kinsale, head towards the main street, Pier Road. Walk along Pier Road until you reach the junction with the Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass several shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for vibrant signs that indicate you're approaching the town of Cork. Once you reach the roundabout, take the first exit onto St. Patrick's Street. After a few minutes of walking, you will see O'Connell Square on your right. The Butter Museum is located in this square, easily identifiable by its distinctive signage.
Public Transport
Start from Kinsale town center and walk to the bus stop located near the Kinsale Tourist Office. Take the Bus Eireann route 226 to Cork City. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cork Bus Station, exit and head towards Patrick Street. Walk straight ahead until you reach the junction with St. Patrick's Street. Turn left on St. Patrick's Street and continue walking until you see O'Connell Square on your right. The Butter Museum is located here, just a short walk from the square.
