From the center of Kinsale, head towards the Kinsale Harbour. Walk along the waterfront until you reach the Kinsale Marina. Continue walking along the path next to the marina, which will lead you out of the town. Follow the signs towards the R600 road. Once you reach R600, you will see a bus stop. From here, it's about a 25-minute walk to Garretstown Beach. Follow the R600 road, keeping an eye out for Garretstown Beach signs. The beach will be on your left after a few kilometers.

From Kinsale town center, walk to the nearest bus stop on the R600 road. Look for the bus service that heads towards Ballinspittle or Courtmacsherry. Board the bus and consult the driver to ensure you are headed towards Garretstown Beach. Once you reach the stop closest to Garretstown Beach, disembark and follow any signage directing you to the beach, which is typically a short walk from the bus stop.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kinsale. Once you have your bike, head towards the R600 road, following the same route as if you were walking. The ride to Garretstown Beach is approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on your cycling speed.
