Walking
From the center of Kinsale, head towards the main street, Pearse Street. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the R600 road. Turn left onto R600 and follow this road for about 7km. You will pass several scenic views along the way. As you approach Timoleague, look for signs for Abbey Street, which will lead you directly to Timoleague Friary. The friary is located on Abbey St, and you will find it on your left.
Bus
From Kinsale, walk to the bus stop located near the Kinsale Tourist Office on Pearse Street. Take a bus towards Clonakilty. Make sure to check the bus schedules, as they may vary. After approximately 20-30 minutes, get off at the Timoleague stop. Once you disembark, walk down Abbey Street, and you will reach Timoleague Friary in just a few minutes.
Bicycle
If you have access to a bicycle, rent one from a local shop in Kinsale. Start from the town center and take the R600 road heading towards Timoleague. The ride is approximately 7km and is mostly flat, making it an enjoyable journey. Follow the road signs to Timoleague, and when you reach Abbey Street, you will find the entrance to Timoleague Friary on your left.
