If you are starting from the city center, head southwest towards O'Connell Street. Walk down O'Connell Street until you reach the junction with Henry Street. Turn left onto Henry Street and continue walking until you reach the River Shannon. Cross the river using the Shannon Bridge. Once across, turn right onto the Quay. Follow the Quay along the riverbank until you reach Bishops Quay, where the Merchant Seamen Memorial is located. It should be on your left side, near the water.
