From the Mizen Head Visitor Centre, head southeast on the R591 road for about 4.5 km. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the R586. Turn right onto the R586 and follow the signs for 'Griffin's Cross'. Continue on the R586 for approximately 2 km, then take a left turn onto a minor road leading to Gortnakilla. Keep an eye out for signs for Gortnakilla pier. The pier will be located at the end of this road. Parking is available near the pier.
