From Mizen Head, start by heading northeast on the R591 road. Continue on this road for approximately 22 kilometers. As you approach Tooreen, look for signs for the Sheephead Cliffs. Turn left onto the local road leading toward Tooreen. Follow the road until you see a sign for the Sheephead Cliffs parking area. The drive should take around 30-40 minutes depending on traffic.

Public Transportation

From Mizen Head, take a bus to Bantry (check local bus schedules for availability). Once in Bantry, transfer to a bus heading toward Tooreen. Upon arriving in Tooreen, you may need to walk approximately 1-2 kilometers to reach the Sheephead Cliffs. It is advisable to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not be frequent.
