Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Mizen Head and head east on the R591 road. Continue straight for about 10 km until you reach the junction with the R586. Turn left onto the R586 and follow the signs for Tooreen. After approximately 5 km, look for the sign for Sheeps Head Lighthouse on your left. Turn onto the access road and follow it until you reach the lighthouse parking area.

To reach Sheeps Head Lighthouse by public transportation, take a bus from Mizen Head to Bantry. From Bantry, transfer to the local bus service towards Tooreen. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the stop for the Sheeps Head area. After getting off, walk about 1 km along the marked path toward the lighthouse. Follow the signs as you get closer to your destination.

If you're already near Tooreen and prefer to walk, head towards G5V2+6H in Coomacullen. From the center of Tooreen, walk east along the local roads, keeping to the left until you reach the R586. Turn right and walk for about 1 km until you see the entrance sign for Sheeps Head Lighthouse on your left. Follow the path leading to the lighthouse.
