Car
From Mizen Head, get onto the R591 road. Head northeast towards the village of Goleen. Continue on R591 for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with R586. Turn left onto R586 and continue for another 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Comillane; follow these signs. As you approach Comillane, keep an eye out for local directional signs indicating the location of the Standing Stones. There is parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
From Mizen Head, take a local bus to Goleen. The bus service operates a few times a day, so check the schedule ahead of time. Once you arrive in Goleen, you will need to transfer to another bus that goes towards Comillane. This second bus also runs infrequently, so make sure to plan your trip accordingly. Upon arriving at Comillane, the Standing Stones are within walking distance. Look for local signs or ask locals for the best walking route to the site.
Walking
If you are already in Comillane, the Standing Stones are accessible on foot. Depending on where you are in Comillane, you may need to walk along local roads. Starting from the village center, head west on local roads, following signs or using a map on your smartphone. The stones are approximately a 15-20 minute walk from the center of Comillane. Make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes as the terrain may vary.
