From Mizen Head, head northeast on the R591 road. Continue for about 12 kilometers (approximately 15 minutes) until you reach the junction with the N71. Turn left onto the N71 and follow it for about 5 kilometers. At the next roundabout, take the second exit onto the R586. Follow the R586 for about 3 kilometers until you reach a small road on your left. Turn left onto this road (look for signs indicating the direction to Altar Wedge Tomb) and follow it for about 1 kilometer. You will find Altar Wedge Tomb on your right, near the village of Altar. Parking may be available nearby.
