To reach North Tor by car, start from the Mourne Mountains Visitor Centre located in Newcastle. Head east on the A2 road towards Ballymartin. After approximately 6 miles, take a left turn onto Head Road. Continue on Head Road for about 1 mile until you reach the parking area near North Tor. Be aware that parking may be limited, especially on weekends.

If you're using public transportation, take a bus from Newcastle to Newry. The bus service is operated by Translink and runs regularly. Once in Newry, you can catch a taxi or use a local bus service to reach Ballymartin. From Ballymartin, you will need to walk to Head Road and follow it to North Tor.
